Corporate Social Development Programme
Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a concept whereby organisations consider the interests of society by taking responsibility for the impact of their activities on customers, suppliers, employees, shareholders, communities and other stakeholders, as well as the environment. Here at TeleVAS we reach out beyond just the impact of our business and try to reach out to those in need as well as providing opportunities to people through a variety of programs.

Fund Raising
TeleVAS staff have participated in numerous fund raising events for a variety of charitable organisations and foundations. Recent activities included:-
- Day with the Children – an adrenaline packed day of sharing with the less fortunate children in our society, comprising of a fund raising endurance race as well as exciting activities for the children to participate in.
- Fund raising for the survivors in Sichuan that were hit by the catastrophic earthquake, in hopes to assist them in the rebuilding of their lives.
- During our group family day we assisted World Vision Malaysia in their HIV/AIDS advocacy campaign called One Life Revolution by making bracelets that were donated to be given away as souvenirs during the One Life Revolution exhibit.

Zakat
TeleVAS encourage and promote zakat contributions and are registered with Pusat Zakat Selangor (PZS) MAIS (formerly known as Pusat Pungutan Zakat MAIS). PZS was established on February 15th, 1994 and was incorporated under the Companies Act 1965 with the registered names of MAIS Zakat Sdn. Bhd. The purpose of establishment of this non-profit entity is to administer the collection of all kinds of zakat in Selangor.

Sponsorship
TeleVAS is a sponsor and Technology Partner of a non-profit organisation for youth development in motorsports in Malaysia, called Kelab My-Kart Selangor. Kelab My-Kart Selangor aims to popularise amateur motorsports through karting in order to develop home grown racing talents who would go on to compete in international motorsports events.
TeleVAS has also developed an ‘Intelligent ID card’ for my-kart members leveraging the latest RFID technology. The card provides both security and functionality for user verification whilst simultaneously enhancing the efficiency of my-kart operations through the ‘one touch data retrieval system.’

Team Spirit
|
TeleVAS also formed and sponsors an amateur racing team, aptly named Team TeleVAS. The team has actively participated in a number of endurance races and organised charity races in the Klang Valley and simultaneously creating awareness.
